Celebrate LGBTQ+ Health! Let's gather for some theatre, food, and conversation.

ELT will present 2 one-act plays written by area queer artists, JJ Buechner and Kai DonDero, at The Park Church.

Friday night's performance will be followed by a coffee and desert reception and panel discussion.

Kai DonDero's A Stop on the Road to the City takes you on abstract journey of self-discovery. Carmen "Carr" is as surprised as MIkeala to be discovered in nervous concentration as they prepare for their visit to the city. While Carr and Mikaela need to catch the same bus their reasons for their visits couldn't seem more disparate. Escape with us to the City of Eskape.

JJ Buechner's Choices explores the shift in AIDS treatment in the early 90s and the underground use of end of life care during the height of the pandemic. Dr. Runner spent years helping patients end their suffering, but as new treatments become available the doctor works to change the minds of the patients ready to end it all. His latest referral has him fighting harder than ever for the patient to change his mind and continue living.
