In 1864 Elmira was home to an infamous Civil War prison camp. The people of Elmira, especially of the Park Church, were much concerned with the welfare of the men in the camp.
Even more so with snow blanketing the city on Christmas Day.
Music by composer Will Wickham with poetry of Edward Dougherty tells the story of both the prisoners and the residents of Elmira.
Additional music of the season by Breesport native Dan Forrest, Ola Geilo, Gustav Holst, and more...
