From The Climate Justice Team: In 2020, 196 million Americans reported using at least one roll of plastic wrap in the past six months.
The Consumer Reports article “How to Quit Plastic” advises us to “Take it one product at a time” so that changing our plastic habits becomes less daunting. Let’s start with plastic wrap. Alternatives to plastic wrap are stretchy silicone covers and beeswax wraps. Or, we can go the old-fashioned route: wrap food in aluminum foil or simply put food in a bowl and cover it with a plate.
